About Our Founder

Our founder and director Chris Clark completed his apprenticeship under the guidance of his dad John Clark, who was a well-known Sorrento builder. When his dad retired, Chris continued to hone his craft and trade with another local builder – Barry Dawes.

When Barry retired, Chris then became a registered builder in his own right (DB-U59104) and continued on as a sole trader for many years. In 2019, together with his wife Cathy, started their own Building Company – Chris Clark Homes P/L.

On a personal level, both Chris and Cathy believe in giving back to the community, with Chris being a Venturer Leader with Sorrento Sea Scout Group, and after Cathy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2012, they both fundraise for The Cancer Council and Peter Mac Cancer Centre.
